    Yes. Sustainability is at the heart of Moor and Dale. Our distillation process is energy-efficient and designed to minimise environmental impact. We use locally sourced spring water and package our spirits in super-lightweight, infinitely recyclable aluminium bottles to reduce carbon emissions during production and transport.

  • What’s the story behind your name, ‘Moor and Dale’?

    We’re based in the Peak District – a landscape shaped by moorland edges and limestone dales. The name reflects both the rugged environment and the quiet strength of the people who live here. Our spirits are rooted in this place, both in character and craft.

  • Why do you use aluminium bottles instead of glass?

    Our lovely 500ml bottles are made from Aluminium is not only lightweight and shatterproof, but infinitely recyclable. This reduces transport-related emissions and helps keep our footprint as low as the mist on the hills.

  • I’m under 18 – can I still browse your website?

    No. Our site is strictly for visitors aged 18 or older. We use an age verification gate to ensure compliance with UK licensing laws. If you’re not yet of legal drinking age, we’ll see you when the time is right.

  • Where do you ship to?

    We currently deliver across the UK. Orders over £50 receive free tracked delivery with age verification on arrival. We're also exploring international shipping options and partnerships in countries that appreciate British craft spirits.

  • Can I visit your distillery or buy directly from you?

    Yes. We’re located in the Hope Valley, in the heart of the Peak District. You can collect orders, meet the makers, and even take a peek behind the scenes. Contact us to arrange a visit — we’d love to welcome you.

  • Are your products suitable for vegans?

    Yes. All our spirits are vegan-friendly — we use no animal products or by-products at any stage of production.
